Terms and Conditions
Thoughtful care starts with clear expectations
At Love Aesthetics, we want every appointment to feel calm, considered and safe. These Terms and Conditions explain how bookings, consultations, treatments, payments, cancellations, clinical requirements and aftercare work.
They are here to protect you, protect our practitioners and make sure everyone understands what to expect before treatment begins.
Please read these Terms before using this website, booking an appointment, purchasing a voucher, joining our mailing list or proceeding with treatment.
By using this website or booking with Love Aesthetics, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
-
Love Aesthetics provides skin, beauty and cosmetic treatment services.
Love Aesthetics is nurse-led. Jo provides services within her professional scope of practice, training, experience and authorisation.
Some treatments may involve regulated cosmetic procedures, clinical assessment, prescription-only medicines or care that requires medical prescribing arrangements.
Where a treatment requires medical assessment or prescription, this is managed through appropriate clinical arrangements with a registered medical practitioner, authorised prescriber or other appropriately qualified health practitioner.
A booking does not guarantee that treatment will proceed.
-
The information on this website is general in nature.
It is not medical advice, a diagnosis, a treatment recommendation or a promise that any treatment is suitable for you.
Treatment suitability can only be determined after consultation, assessment, medical history, informed consent and practitioner judgement.
We do our best to keep information accurate and current, but services, pricing, availability, regulations and clinical requirements may change.
-
Some cosmetic treatments are regulated health services. Some may involve prescription-only medicines.
Love Aesthetics does not advertise prescription-only medicines to the public.
Specific treatment options, product names, prescription requirements, risks, benefits, alternatives and suitability will only be discussed privately as part of a consultation with an appropriately qualified practitioner.
Treatment will only proceed where it is clinically appropriate, lawful, properly authorised, consented to and safe to provide.
-
Some treatments may require a prescription before they can be provided.
Jo is a nurse and does not present herself as a medical doctor.
Where a treatment requires prescribing or medical assessment, this will be managed through appropriate arrangements with a registered medical practitioner, authorised prescriber or other lawful prescribing pathway.
A prescription is not guaranteed.
Treatment will only proceed where:
the required assessment has been completed
the treatment is clinically appropriate
a valid prescription has been issued where required
Jo is appropriately authorised to administer or provide the treatment
you have given informed consent
all relevant professional, legal and clinical requirements have been met
If the prescriber or treating practitioner decides the treatment is not suitable, Love Aesthetics may decline, delay, modify or refer the treatment.
That is not a rejection. That is responsible care.
-
Before certain treatments, you may be required to complete a consultation and provide accurate health information.
This may include information about:
medical conditions
allergies
medications
pregnancy or breastfeeding
previous cosmetic treatments
previous reactions or complications
skin conditions
recent illness, dental work, surgery or vaccination
any other information relevant to your safety
Please be honest and complete. We are not here to judge. We are here to keep you safe.
If your medical circumstances change before your appointment, you must tell us before treatment.
-
Before any clinical or regulated treatment, you will be given information about the proposed treatment, possible benefits, possible risks, expected process, recovery, aftercare and alternatives.
You will have the opportunity to ask questions before deciding whether to proceed.
You may withdraw consent at any time before treatment begins.
-
Every face, body and skin journey is different.
Results vary from person to person and cannot be guaranteed. Outcomes may depend on age, anatomy, skin condition, lifestyle, medical history, previous treatments, aftercare and individual response.
Love Aesthetics does not promise a particular result, a specific level of change or a guaranteed timeframe.
Our approach is thoughtful, considered and safety-led. We will always aim to provide honest advice about what is realistic for you.
-
All treatments carry some level of risk.
Depending on the treatment, possible effects may include redness, swelling, bruising, tenderness, discomfort, irritation, asymmetry, infection, delayed healing, allergic reaction, unsatisfactory outcome or the need for further treatment.
Some risks may be rare but serious.
You will be given treatment-specific information before proceeding. Please follow all aftercare instructions carefully.
If you experience unexpected symptoms after treatment, contact Love Aesthetics promptly.
If symptoms are severe, urgent or concerning, seek medical attention immediately.
-
Love Aesthetics may refuse, delay or stop treatment where we believe it is not safe, suitable, appropriate or in your best interests.
This may include circumstances where:
you are underage for the treatment requested
you are pregnant or breastfeeding and the treatment is not appropriate
you have a medical contraindication
you have an active infection or skin concern in the treatment area
you have recently had another treatment that may affect safety
you appear unwell
you are unable to provide informed consent
your expectations are not clinically realistic
the required prescription or medical approval is not in place
Jo or the prescriber believes another pathway is more appropriate
We know this may be disappointing, but safety comes first. Always.
-
Some services are not available to people under 18.
Love Aesthetics does not direct advertising for higher-risk cosmetic procedures to people under 18.
Where any treatment may be considered for a person under 18, additional requirements may apply, including parent or guardian involvement, suitability assessment and cooling-off periods where required.
-
Love Aesthetics may use images only where lawful, appropriate, consented to and compliant with professional and advertising obligations.
Images must not be misleading, edited to enhance outcomes, or used to create unrealistic expectations.
We will not use your image without your consent.
You may withdraw consent for future use of your image, although we may not be able to remove material that has already been printed, shared, reposted or distributed outside our control.
-
We love kind words. The regulators are less romantic.
Because of health advertising rules, Love Aesthetics may not be able to publish, repost or share testimonials, reviews, tagged posts or comments that refer to clinical treatments, outcomes, experiences, satisfaction, safety, practitioner skill or results.
If you tag Love Aesthetics in content about a regulated cosmetic procedure, we may need to hide, remove, untag or decline to share it.
Please do not take it personally. It is not you. It is compliance.
-
A quote provided during consultation is valid for the period stated at the time. If no period is stated, it is valid for 14 days.
Payment is required at the time of appointment unless otherwise agreed.
We reserve the right to require a deposit or booking fee to secure your appointment.
-
Deposits or booking fees may be required for selected appointments.
Where a deposit is required, your booking is not confirmed until the deposit has been paid.
Deposits may be forfeited if you cancel late, do not attend, or reschedule outside the required notice period.
-
We understand life happens. We just ask for notice.
Please give at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
If you cancel or reschedule with less than 48 hours’ notice, Love Aesthetics may retain your deposit or charge a cancellation fee.
If you do not attend your appointment, your deposit may be forfeited and future bookings may require pre-payment.
-
If you are running late, please contact us as soon as possible.
If you arrive late, your appointment may need to be shortened, rescheduled or cancelled.
The full appointment fee or cancellation fee may still apply.
We will always try to help, but we cannot rush treatments that require proper consultation, consent, preparation or aftercare.
-
Love Aesthetics does not offer refunds for change of mind.
Refunds will be handled in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
Because individual results vary, dissatisfaction with a treatment outcome does not automatically entitle you to a refund.
Where clinically appropriate, we may offer a review appointment to assess your concerns and discuss next steps.
-
If you have concerns after treatment, please contact us directly.
Some treatments require time to settle before a result can be assessed. Your practitioner will advise when a review is appropriate.
Please do not seek correction or additional treatment elsewhere before giving Love Aesthetics the opportunity to review your concern, unless urgent medical care is required.
-
Gift vouchers:
are not redeemable for cash
cannot be used to purchase another gift voucher
must be used before the expiry date stated

If a treatment is not suitable, the voucher may be used towards another eligible service or product, where available.
-
Promotions are available for the period stated and may be subject to conditions.
Promotions cannot usually be used with any other offer unless stated.
Promotions do not guarantee treatment suitability. A consultation may still be required.
Love Aesthetics may withdraw or amend promotions at any time, subject to applicable law.
Promotions relating to regulated cosmetic treatments may be limited, amended or removed to comply with health practitioner advertising rules.
